Ah, that's easier to answer. My first and eternal love is The Beatles. I think I'm always aiming for them. Tom Petty has also played an important role in my life. Other artists who have influenced me include Ray Lamontagne, Self, Fiona Apple, Green Day, Bob Dylan, Weezer, M. Ward, John Prine, The Mountain Goats, Paul Simon, Glen Hansard, and The Milk Carton Kids.

At the moment, I live in Cleveland. I came here on a whim but really fell in love with the music scene. Everyone is very supportive of each other, and there are tons of opportunities to play.

Music has saved my life on more than one occasion. It's a great thing. My only hope in writing these songs is that one day one of them means as much to someone else as dozens of other artists' songs have meant to me.
